An unusual anti-porn novel about how one man conquered sexual addiction,this literary novel stresses the psychology of positive relationships. Set in Arkansas’ Ozark Mountains in 1974, it includes oral history gathered by the author which is available nowhere else. This book is a major contribution to the curriculum for American history, American literature, Arkansas history, family studies, Jewish studies, psychology, and women’s studies courses.

We are a small publisher and cannot afford to provide free examination copies to college professors and instructors, although we fervently wish we could.

In order to be fair to ourselves and to college faculty, we are meeting you half-way. We make exam copies of our books available for $12 postpaid by media mail or $15 postpaid by priority mail, a policy that seems to be roughly on par with some of the large trade publishers.

And here’s the good news: you do not have to return exam copies. They’re yours to keep. But if you do adopt them for a course, and your bookstore orders at least 20 copies, we’ll refund your exam copy fee.

Since these prices are well below our single-copy wholesale prices, they are available only for books you are considering as required reading in a course with a projected enrollment of 20 or more students.

Examination copies can be delivered only to academic addresses. You can’t have them delivered to your home. At this time, examination copies are only available in the USA and Canada.
